Project:Algonquin Road Bridge Rehabilitation Project (Spring Creek)

Description: Funding for this project allows facilitates rehabilitation of the Algonquin Road Bridge over Spring Creek. This deteriorating structure has serious structural deficiencies that threaten emergency access and could result in further load restrictions or closure if left unaddressed.

Project:Buffalo Grove Park District Alcott Center Modernization Project - Phase I

Funding Amount Requested: $4,949,289.00
Description: Funding for this project allows provides for Phase I of the Alcott Center Modernization. This phase will reconfigure the parking lot and pedestrian access routes to eliminate dangerous vehicle-pedestrian conflicts that currently affect 162 preschool children and an aging senior population daily, while also installing stormwater infrastructure and bringing the site into full ADA compliance.

Description: Funding for this project facilitates the reconstruction of Crawford Avenue from Oakton Street to Golf Road in Skokie, Illinois. Pavement on this key corridor has significantly deteriorated and the existing roadway design does not meet current safety standards, creating hazards for residents, businesses, and commuters

Project:Crystal Lake Lead Service Line Replacement Phase II

Description: Funding for this project facilitates the rehabilitation of vacant retail concession sites within CTA rail stations and the activation of those spaces with community-oriented small business tenants. This project will support transit-oriented economic development and improve the rider experience along some of the district's busiest rail corridors.

Project: Hannah Center Renovation Project

Description: Funding for this project facilitates renovation of the CCO Hannah Center, a north side shelter serving families experiencing homelessness. Capital improvements will create 12 new non-congregate sleeping rooms with private bathrooms and bring the facility into full ADA compliance.

Project: Northeastern Illinois Public Safety Training Academy – NIPSTA Facility Modernization Project

Description: Funding for this project facilitates for the modernization of critical building systems, ADA improvements, and comprehensive renovation of the Field Training Facility, an original structure from the former Glenview Naval Air Station. NIPSTA serves first responders from dozens of municipalities across northeastern Illinois, and this investment will ensure the campus can meet the demands of modern public safety training.

Description: Funding for this project provides for lead service line replacements throughout the City of Park Ridge, Illinois. Park Ridge has thousands of lead service lines that need to be replaced, and the cost of replacement is a significant burden to the community.

Description: Funding for this project facilitates the rehabilitation of Senn Park in Chicago's Edgewater neighborhood. Senn Park serves as the mandatory outdoor athletics venue for the adjacent Senn High School under a formal CPS partnership, in addition to providing free programming for youth, families, and seniors in the surrounding community.

Description: Funding for this project allows facilitates the renovation of the Sylvia Center, a Chicago shelter serving women and families experiencing homelessness. Capital improvements will increase the number of private sleeping rooms, improve accessibility, and better serve survivors of domestic violence.
