BUSH ADMINISTRATION'S MISSTATEMENT OF THE DAY - THE BUDGET

WASHINGTON, D.C. - U.S. Representative Jan Schakowsky (D-IL) issued today's "Bush Administration's Misstatement of the Day" on the budget.

During his opening statement today before the House Ways and Means, Secretary of the Treasury said:

I believe you'll find that this budget reflects the priorities of our nation as well as the leadership of President George W. Bush.
However, the Bush budget cuts funding for veterans health, housing, job training and other national critical priorities.
