Illinois Democrats Announce ACA Open Enrollment

Chicago, IL – On Monday, October 30th, 2017 at 10:00 am, Democratic lawmakers from Illinois will host a press conference to mark the November 1^st kick off of the ACA Insurance open enrollment period at Cook County Health & Hospitals System Administration Building (1900 W. Polk St., 2^nd floor Boardroom, Suite 220).

Parking is available in the hospital parking garage at Polk St. and Wood St. (entrance on Polk).

WHAT: Press conference to announce the beginning of the ACA open enrollment

period, which goes from November 1^st until December 15^th this year, and to

encourage Illinois residents to get covered. Speakers will provide

information about navigators who are available to help and premium and

cost-sharing assistance that may be available for residents.

Advocates from several health care organizations, navigators, and

constituents who have benefitted from enrolling in health care plans will

be available on site to answer questions from the press.
