PRESIDENT BUSH'S RECORD

WASHINGTON, D.C. - U.S. Representative Jan Schakowsky (D-IL) issued "The Bush Administration Misstatement of the Day" on President Bush's record.

While vacationing on his ranch in Crawford, Texas, President Bush proclaimed that his administration has "a great record," adding that "We're people who can get the job done. We've proven to you we can get the job done." (President Bush, August 23, 2004)
