The Affordable Insulin Now Act

April 1, 2022

Right now, millions of Americans who rely on insulin struggle to keep up with the soaring costs of this lifesaving drug. • Americans pay more than ten times more for insulin than many of our peer nations. • While Big Pharma produces insulin for about $10 per vial, they often charge families up to 30 times that amount. • One in four Americans who rely on insulin have cut back or skipped doses because they could not afford the rising costs. High costs force many to ration their supply, a dangerous and potentially deadly practice. @House Democrats passed the Affordable Insulin Now Act this week to cap the price of insulin at $35 per month.
