September 8, 2020

After the annual Labor Day weekend holiday, which recognizes the contributions and sacrifices of our nation’s labor force to our way of life, Members of Congress highlighted the shameful failures of the Trump Administration to protect workers. Congresswoman Jan Schakowsky (IL-09), Congressman Mark Pocan (WI-02) and Congressman Brendan Boyle (PA-02) discussed how failed policies on international trade and the disastrous response to the COVID-19 public health crisis have hurt working Americans. They were joined by labor leaders from their districts who shared their first hand experiences.
