Each account has its own rules, guidelines, and eligibility requirements for submission, and applicants are responsible for ensuring that they are applying for funding from an eligible account.

Community Project Funding Eligibility

Community Project Funding requests are available to governmental entities and, previously, 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations only.  

For the duration of the Community Project Funding program, for-profit operations have been ineligible to receive funding.  We expect this limitation to remain in place moving forward.  Additional details on eligibility are available in each individual agency account's guidance.  FY2027 guidance is available here.
