[DES PLAINES, IL] – Congresswoman Tammy Duckworth (IL-08), along with Senator Dick Durbin (D-IL) and Reps. Mike Quigley (IL-05) and Jan Schakowsky (IL-09) announced $11,447,584 in federal funding to help the city of Des Plaines purchase flood-damaged homes and homes that are prone to flooding. Purchasing these homes may help residents mitigate and prevent future losses.
