They have voted in favor of a horrible bill to repeal the Affordable Care Act, they have opposed the will of the American people, they have ignored the warnings of doctors, nurses, and patient groups, and they have told their constituents that they care more about toeing the party line than protecting the health care of millions of Americans.”

“Just when we thought the Republican proposal to rip apart the American health care system had scraped the bottom of the barrel, the GOP has found a new low. The latest Republican idea to breathe life back into their failed Obamacare repeal bill is to allow states to discriminate against people with pre-existing conditions.

“Although President Trump’s tax plan was light on details, it was full of bad ideas. His plan would mean huge tax cuts for the ultra-wealthy and big corporations at the expense of working-class and middle-class Americans. Millionaires and billionaires would see their tax rates slashed, and multinational corporations would get a massive tax break on offshore profits.
