WASHINGTON, D.C. - During a Congressional hearing today entitled "Disappearing Tax Dollars," U.S. Representative Jan Schakowsky (D-IL) said that "there simply is not enough money to fund the government next year."

$500,000 INCLUDED IN COMMITTEE-PASSED
APPROPRIATIONS BILL
WASHINGTON, D.C. - U.S. Representative Jan Schakowsky (D-IL) today applauded action by a key House committee which approved $500,000 in federal funds for the Village of Morton Grove. The House Appropriations Committee passed the Transportation funding bill, which includes the funds for the Dempster Commercial Corridor Improvement Project in the Village of Morton Grove.
