“Millions of Americans sat down at their kitchen tables ahead of today’s IRS deadline to go over the family’s finances, and far too many are struggling to pay the bills. The devastating effects of the GOP Tax Scam won’t help them out. The bill rushed through Congress in December by Republicans will end up raising taxes on 86 million middle-class families and give 83% of its benefits to the wealthiest 1%.
