When President Joe Biden signed into law the Infrastructure Investment & Jobs Act last November, he unleashed unprecedented actions to revitalize the crumbing physical foundation of the United States from top to bottom.

Last year, the American Society of Civil Engineers gave the United States' overall infrastructure a rating of C-minus, saying "This is not a report card anyone could be proud of." The $1.2 trillion investment will modernize our infrastructure across the board: sea, land, air.

In a letter sent to Secretary Antony Blinken, the bicameral group of lawmakers emphasize the urgency of U.S. and international backing for Castro's platform of human rights, economic, and anti-corruption reform, including her pledges to strengthen human rights protections, form a new, United Nations-led anti-corruption commission, and combat poverty and inequality.

This legislation would repeal the federal requirement that state Medicaid programs go after families and estates for repayment of Medicaid long-term care services.
